Year 7

At the start of Year 7 girls are placed into sets according to their performance in the Entrance Exam. Pupils are assessed half-termly and frequent movement takes place between sets.

Key Stages

At Key Stage 3, pupils follow a course broadly in line with the National Curriculum and experience a wide variety of different teaching and learning methods.

At Key Stage 4 girls will be prepared for  the Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics A exam.

Further Maths is also offered as a separate AS or A level.

National Competitions

Able students are given the opportunity to take part in masterclasses run by the department and are also entered for national competitions such as the UK Maths Challenges
