Ecuador 2010

Ecuador can only be described as the trip of a lifetime.

We have been asked what was our best bit. There was no best bit. it was just the most amazing experience:

Our trip took us from the Pan da Vida Project for the homeless where we cooked and played with the children, to jungle communities, to working in an orphanage, to visiting caves in the jungle and reaching our ultimate goal Cotapaxi at 4,800m. The trip culminated in a thrilling White Water Rafting experience where great fun was had by all.

For everyone who very kindly supported our efforts with fundraising for Ecuador here are just a taste of the exciting, heart rending, exhilarating time we had on our three weeks in South America.

In total £23000 was raised ( exceeding our target of £15000)

Many thanks must go to our sponsors Farnrise and Acton Lions without whom we would not have had the excellent equipment needed for our trip.

The trip was so successful that our next destination for 2012 is Borneo.
