Winter Ball & Auction - Borneo 2012 Expedition

Many many thanks to all parents who supported the Winter Ball; your support was much appreciated. Two hundred guests, including girls, attended the event and we do not yet have the final figure but we raised approximately £15k towards our total.

We will be having more events in the new year and look forward to seeing you there.

Borneo Fund Raising

 

26 girls from St Catherine’s will be journeying to remote Borneo in the Summer of 2012.

This Expedition will require these girls to spend time working in an orphanage and orangutan sanctuary, as well as staying with local families in long houses to learn more about the country and culture. Trekking through rainforests and mountain climbing are also part of the 21 day expedition.

An elegant Black Tie Winter Ball was held at St Catherine’s, featuring a dynamic Live Auction of fabulous items in order to help raise funds in sponsorship of this extraordinary expedition.

This charity event was held Saturday, 12th November at the school.
